We prepare our Bloodroot Extract from the rhizome of Sanguinaria canadensis plants which are Certified Organically Grown especially for us in their native forest habitat in eastern Kentucky. To assure optimal extraction of Bloodroots bioactive compounds, the rhizome is handharvested in late summer or early autumn, is carefully shade-dried, and is then thoroughly extracted. Our Bloodroot is never fumigated or irradiated. Dry herb / menstruum ratio: 1 : 10.
